52 new cases of COVID-19 infection detected

According to the headquarters, out of 52 new cases of the disease, four are imported, 48 are contact cases. 13 people have been hospitalized, 39 are being treated at home.

Kazan (22), Naberezhnye Chelny (10), Zelenodolsky (7) and Tukaevsky (6) regions of the Republic of Tatarstan are in the lead in the number of newly ill. Two new cases each were detected in Yelabuga and Muslyumovsky districts, one each in Vysokogorsky, Zainsky and Laishevsky districts.

In total, 748,029 people were vaccinated in Tatarstan (an increase of 6,418), of which 510,152 received a second vaccination.

In RUSSIA, 23,704 people were infected per day, the operational headquarters said. The total number of cases exceeded 6 million. 5.4 million people recovered (plus 22.8 thousand per day), more than 150 thousand died (plus 783 per day).
