Russia to register COVID vaccine for children aged 6 to 11

National Research Center. N.F. Gamalei has applied for registration of a CORONAVIRUS vaccine for children aged 6-11. About this "RIA Novosti" said the DIRECTOR of the center Alexander Gintsburg.

According to information published in the state register of medicines, the vaccine was named "Gam-COVID-Vac-D". it will be administered intramuscularly. The registry specifies that the drug will become a two-dose.

The Sputnik-M vaccine has already been registered in RUSSIA; it is intended for adolescents aged 12 to 17. Vaccination is done with the voluntary consent of one of the parents or legal representative, if the child is under 15 years of age. If a child is 15 years of age or older, they have the right to make their own decision about vaccination.
