Pavilions "Healthy Moscow" began their work in the capital's parks. The expansion of healthcare beyond medical institutions, as well as a personalized approach to human health, are innovations in the social sphere of the capital, Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, emphasized at the IV Forum of Social Innovations of the Regions.
“We are very pleased that our health pavilions in the parks have reopened, and we invite all Muscovites to visit them. Everything is ready for check-ups: the equipment is installed, and doctors are already waiting for patients from 8 am to 8 pm without breaks and days off. Last year, more than 277,000 people underwent examinations, and we hope that this year no less Muscovites will take care of their health,” the Vice Mayor said, commenting on the opening of the Healthy Moscow pavilions in 2022.
The goal of the Healthy Moscow project is the prevention and early detection of various non-communicable diseases, as well as motivation to lead a healthy lifestyle. Muscovites have the opportunity, free of charge, without prior appointment, to undergo an examination in special health pavilions while walking in the park. The medical examination program under the Healthy Moscow project is wider than under the federal program, and also includes an in-depth check-up for those who have recovered from covid-19 . All pavilions are connected to the Unified Medical Information and Analytical System (UMIAS), and test results are available to patients in their electronic records on the mos.ru website or in the EMIAS.INFO app.
This year, according to the deputy mayor, the Healthy Moscow pavilions are especially waiting for people who have recovered from COVID-19. “There are already more than 2.5 million such Muscovites. We have expanded the check-up program for them, and now an additional list of studies is provided for those who have been sick with covid. This will help to identify the risks of developing post-COVID syndrome in a timely manner and, if there are any, to receive recommendations on how to reduce them, or even a referral to a DOCTOR, ”added Rakova.

What's new this season
The list of examinations in the Healthy Moscow pavilions varies depending on the gender and age of patients, as well as whether they had COVID-19. The main focus of this year is monitoring the condition of people who have had a CORONAVIRUS infection. An expanded list of studies has been prepared for them, which helps to identify the risks of developing diseases after an infection.
In addition, this year the Healthy Moscow research program promises to be more personalized. To do this, Muscovites who have had COVID-19 are sent letters and SMS with a survey that allows you to find out if a person is at risk after the illness. Based on the results of the analysis of the answers, residents will receive personalized recommendations.
The COVID-19 recovery program includes the following additional tests:
Assessment of the state of the respiratory system (spirometry). In case of deviations - consultation of a pulmonologist; Assessment of blood oxygen saturation level (pulse oximetry). In case of deviations - CT scan of the chest, ECHO-cardiogram; Evaluation of kidney function (creatinine level), whether the inflammatory process persists (C-reactive protein level) and other indicators (general and biochemical blood tests for 7 indicators). In case of deviations - consultation of a general practitioner. The risk of thrombosis (an analysis to determine the concentration of D-dimer in the blood is carried out for citizens who have had a disease in moderate and severe form). In case of deviations - duplex scanning of the veins of the legs.Mental health care
Another innovation of this season is taking care of the mental health of people with post-COVID syndrome. Citizens who have had COVID-19 will receive letters and SMS with a survey aimed at identifying the risks of not only physical but also emotional health damage after suffering COVID-19. As clarified in the capital's depzdrav, the answers are analyzed by qualified psychotherapists of the Scientific and Practical Psychoneurological Center. Z. P. Solovieva. Based on the results of such a survey, residents will be sent personalized recommendations, which may include attending a free consultation with a qualified psychotherapist or attending a group webinar.
Sports as part of the Healthy Moscow project
In addition to health screening programs, everyone will have the opportunity to play sports for free with professional coaches and mentors. In the new season, the Sports Weekend training will be held at 17 venues in 10 districts of Moscow near the Healthy Moscow pavilions.
In addition, Muscovites will have the opportunity to go in for sports at unusual venues. Among them are the territory of HPP-2, the roof of the Northern River Station, where yoga and stretching trainings will take place, as well as the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, there will be yoga with a view of the pond.
The project's online training sessions will continue to be published on the Vkontakte social network and other Sports Weekend channels. The PROZdorovye section has resumed on the Sports Weekend TELEGRAM channel, in which doctors from the Moscow City Health Department give their recommendations and answer popular questions from participants.
Results of the last season
This year, Healthy Moscow pavilions will open in Moscow parks for the third time (they first appeared in the capital in 2019). Last year, according to the capital’s health department, more than 277,000 people underwent examinations, of which over 76,000 underwent in-depth medical examinations after COVID-19. More than 27 thousand people attended additional examinations in polyclinics, over 1.3 thousand - for research at the Center for Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology. Nearly 1,000 patients received consultations from oncologists, and additional examinations revealed 61 cases of malignant neoplasms.
“People who undergo total screenings check everything in advance, are healthy at 80 and 90, and live long. And if problems arise, they are resolved quickly - if cancer is detected, then at an early, first stage, ”says Bogunovych.
“Healthy Moscow pavilions are quite a unique screening format. In other countries, there are screening programs that are most often ordered after consultation with a doctor. Such a large-scale project with pavilions in all the main parks of the city, with the possibility of advanced diagnostics, which includes ultrasound diagnostics and oncoscreening, is a truly unique project that has been implemented in Moscow. It is especially convenient that you can go through the initial screening right away, combining a walk in the park and an examination, and absolutely free of charge, ”added Polikarpova.
