On New Year's Eve, Moscow will restrict access to Red Square, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the city's Department of Regional Security and Anti-Corruption. Restrictions will come into effect on December 31 at 17:00.

According to the press service of the department, such a measure was introduced due to the situation with the CORONAVIRUS. The agency notes that the restrictions are also related to the "implementation of preventive measures and the exclusion of significant crowds." According to TASS, during the New Year holidays in Moscow, control and preventive measures are planned, in which representatives of the police and other law enforcement agencies are involved.
