According to the decision of the governor of the Kursk region Roman Starovoit, employees of trade, education, healthcare, transport, sports, social services, housing and communal services, as well as state and municipal employees, must undergo mandatory vaccination against CORONAVIRUS in the period from July 1 to September 1. In these organizations, at least 70% of employees must be vaccinated. The press service of the region in their social networks notified that detailed "information about the decisions taken at the operational headquarters will be later."

In addition, already 5,000 residents of the Kursk region aged 65 and older who have been vaccinated against covid-19 have received a lump sum payment of 3,000 rubles — the regional budget has spent 15 million rubles for this purpose. Earlier, RBC Chernozemye said that the government planned to form the lists of vaccinated people in early August, and start transferring funds in September, however, taking into account the epidemiological situation, they decided to move the deadlines. The press service of the regional administration of RBC Chernozemye explained that even those citizens who will be vaccinated without fail if they are in the appropriate age group will receive payments. it will be possible to get vaccinated with vaccines from different manufacturers, but "everything will depend on their availability."

With the onset of a new outbreak of coronavirus, the regions, following Moscow, began to announce mandatory vaccination, mainly for certain groups of citizens. In RUSSIA, 20 subjects of the federation have already taken this path.
