Over the past 24 hours, 368 cases of infection with coronavirus infection covid-19 have been detected in Crimea . The head of the republic Sergei Aksenov wrote about this on VKontakte. This figure was a record for the entire period of the pandemic.

“For July 10, 368 cases of coronavirus infection were registered on the territory of the Republic of Crimea. Of the total number of cases, 286 were detected when seeking medical help, 73 were among contacts in previously registered cases, nine cases were imported from abroad,” he said.

Aksyonov asked residents and visitors to wear masks when visiting public places. “Limit contacts as much as possible, do not visit public places unless absolutely necessary, keep a social distance of at least two meters,” the head of Crimea added.

The previous record for the number of cases in Crimea was set on January 14. Then 365 cases of infection were detected on the territory of the peninsula. Over the entire period of the pandemic in Crimea, according to the operational headquarters, almost 52 thousand cases of infection were registered. Of this number, more than 45 thousand people have recovered, more than 1.5 thousand have died. Since the beginning of July, more than 300 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Crimea every day.
