Due to the situation with the CORONAVIRUS, the Montenegrin authorities have changed the conditions for entry into the country for their citizens and foreigners. This was announced by the HEAD of the Ministry of HEALTH, Elena Borovinich-Bojovic.
From Tuesday, September 14, those who have been fully vaccinated against covid-19 and have been vaccinated with two components of the vaccine or a one-component drug will be able to enter Montenegro. 14 days must pass from the moment the vaccination course is completed. Previously, one vaccination was enough for entry (if we are talking about a two-component preparation).
Also, upon entry, as before, you can present a negative result of a PCR test made no more than 72 hours in advance; a negative rapid test result not older than 48 hours or a certificate of COVID-19 (not earlier than 14 days from the date of recovery and not later than 180 days from the date of issue).
Montenegro tightened entry rules for foreigners due to COVID-19 Society
Montenegro recognizes the Russian Sputnik V vaccine. At the end of March, the authorities opened the borders for Russians who have immunity to the coronavirus, including through vaccination. Also, entry was allowed to those who have antibodies to COVID-19 or a negative PCR test. In mid-May, all tourists were allowed to enter Montenegro.
