In Bashkiria, the requirement for mandatory vaccination has been extended to industries, construction and design, agriculture, and the processing industry. By the end of December 2021, enterprises operating in these areas must ensure that at least 80% of employees are vaccinated against covid-19 . This is stated in the decision of the chief state sanitary DOCTOR of Bashkiria, a copy of the document is at the disposal of RBC Ufa.
This decision is explained by the trend towards an increase in the incidence among employees of industrial enterprises and other organized groups, which has been observed in recent months.
“The increase in the incidence among people of working age indicates an increase in the number of infections in organized groups. For the period from July to October 2021, 30% of the sick are employees of enterprises,” the resolution says.
Workers in these industries must complete the first component of the CORONAVIRUS vaccine by November 30. Until December 30, they must complete the vaccination. Employers have the right to remove unvaccinated and unmedicated employees from work without pay.
As RBC Ufa reported, in October 2021, the chief sanitary doctor of Bashkiria announced the need to vaccinate at least 80% of teachers, medical staff, officials, workers in social institutions, trade and services, law enforcement officers, and the military. They must administer the first component of the drug by November 18, and complete the vaccination by December 18. After the deadline, employers will have the right to remove unvaccinated workers from duty without pay. New requirements have been introduced in the region due to an increase in the incidence of coronavirus and a slowdown in vaccination rates.
