In Bashkiria, more than 920 million rubles were paid to doctors who recovered from COVID-19.

From the beginning of the pandemic to the end of April 2021, the regional branch of the Social Insurance Fund made more than 12.26 thousand payments to healthcare workers infected with CORONAVIRUS while on duty. This was reported to RBC Ufa in the republican FSS.

The total amount of transfers amounted to 921.9 million rubles. Of these, 79.8 million rubles were paid for 29 deaths (2.75 million rubles each).

As RBC Ufa reported, at the beginning of March, the Fund made more than 9 thousand transfers for a total of 684.4 million rubles, 60.5 million rubles were payments for 22 deaths.

One-time insurance payments to medical workers are carried out according to the decree of the President of the country Vladimir Putin No. 313. The amount of payments to doctors infected with coronavirus at work is 68.8 thousand rubles. If complications were caused by disability of group I, the payment is more than 2 million rubles, group II - 1.38 million rubles, group III - 688.1 thousand rubles. In the event of the death of a physician from covid-19 , 2.75 million rubles are transferred to the family.

The FSS notes that a medical organization that has diagnosed a coronavirus to a HEALTH worker is obliged to immediately notify the Fund and the employer. The latter, on the day of receipt of the notification, must create a medical commission with the involvement of FSS specialists to investigate the circumstances of the employee's infection. In the event of a permanent disability or death of an employee, Rospotrebnadzor specialists are also involved in the investigation.
