The average cost of treating a patient with a CORONAVIRUS infection in hospitals in Bashkiria in January-November 2021 amounted to 83.09 thousand rubles. This was reported to RBC Ufa in the Territorial Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund. Compared to last year, the average check for assistance to patients with covid-19 in the republic decreased by 22.5 thousand rubles.
In polyclinics, the average cost of medical care for patients with or suspected coronavirus in 2021 amounted to 844.2 rubles, the amount increased by 314.5 rubles compared to last year. The average bill for emergency medical care more than doubled, from 1.3 thousand in 2020 to 2.8 thousand in 11 months of 2021. In the ambulance, the average check amounted to 622.5 rubles, which is 31.7 rubles more than last year.
“The amount of funds on accepted accounts of medical care provided to persons insured under compulsory medical insurance with a disease or suspected coronavirus infection from January to November 2021 amounted to 7.3 billion rubles, which is 16.8% more than in 2020 as a whole (6, 27 billion),” said Yulia Kofanova, DIRECTOR of the territorial MHIF.
President of the Interregional Union of Medical Insurers Dmitry Kuznetsov, in a conversation with RBC Ufa, noted that changes in the standards of treatment for such patients could have affected the reduction in the average cost of care for patients with coronavirus, in addition, the average check could depend on the fullness of the territorial CHI fund
As RBC reported, in the first half of 2021, the average cost of hospitalization of one patient with COVID-19 in the country amounted to 135.4 thousand rubles, while the average cost of hospitalization of a patient with non-communicable diseases over the same period was 41.5 thousand rubles.
