The executive DIRECTOR of the puppet theater "Ekiyat" Ganeev Ilfat, in an interview with RBC Tatarstan, said that now the leadership of the cultural institution is discussing options for working with the Ministry of Culture and Rospotrebnadzor of the republic. According to him, the introduction of QR codes will have a negative impact on the work of the theater and entail losses.
“We already went through this last year. In any case, we will act in accordance with the current resolution. For those performances where we have not yet sold more than 50%, we will, accordingly, put restrictions on sales,” he said.
Aleksey Stepantsov, HEAD of the Youth Theater on Bulak, and Dilyara Khusainova, assistant to the head of the Kachalovsky Theater for the literary part, share a similar opinion.
Stepantsov believes that it will be possible to talk about the impact of the new COVID-security measures on the work of the theater after some time. “Now we need to adjust the issues, as tickets are sold out for several months in advance according to the system of occupancy in 70% of the hall. Now we are thinking and deciding what to do with those people who have already bought tickets, but do not have QR codes,” he said.
Stepantsov noted that most of the theater staff had been vaccinated against the new CORONAVIRUS infection to date.
