British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, during a visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, intends to warn the allies against trying to "appease" Russia, follows from her speech, which she is going to deliver to the armed forces of this country, Sky News reports. The purpose of the trip is to rally allies for greater support for Ukraine, including the supply of weapons to Kiev and sanctions against Moscow.
According to her, the further development of the “protracted and more and more painful conflict in Ukraine” cannot be allowed.
“We must be adamant in ensuring the victory of Ukraine through military assistance and sanctions,” the head of the British Foreign Office said. “Right now we can’t take our foot off the pedal,” Truss added.

Earlier, the British minister has already stated that London will not stop exerting sanctions pressure on Russia "until Ukraine wins."

In total, according to the British Foreign Office, 1.6 thousand Russians and Russian companies are under British sanctions.
The Kremlin called the restrictive measures against Russia a continuation of the "rabid line of the West" and promised to
respond to them in any way they see fit.
