Trump called the "most powerful" US nuclear forces

The United States has the most powerful nuclear forces and Moscow should not touch on the topics of unconventional confrontation. This was stated by former US President Donald Trump during a speech to his supporters in the state of North Carolina, reports REUTERS.

“We have a nuclear force, which I rebuilt along with all the troops. I hate to even talk about it, but we have the most powerful nuclear force,” Trump said.

In 2020, as president, Trump announced that the country's strategic forces had undergone a complete modernization, having received the latest equipment and weapons. He noted that at that time $2.5 trillion was spent on the military complex. “When we pay attention to what CHINA is doing , what RUSSIA is doing , what some other countries are doing, we must be prepared in case a catastrophe occurs,” Trump said (quoted by Reuters).

Trump's statement came against the backdrop of a special operation in Ukraine, which Russia launched on the night of February 24. Among the goals of the military operation, the Russian authorities name the "denazification" and "demilitarization" of Ukraine, as well as the protection of the population of Donbass.
