Tajikistan has canceled all restrictions that were in place at state border crossings due to the pandemic. The corresponding resolution was adopted by the republican headquarters for the prevention of the spread of covid, reports the Khovar agency.
The decision was made taking into account several factors: the stabilization of the epidemiological situation, the high level of vaccination among the population, the lifting of restrictions on the passage of passengers and the transport of goods by air, land and water, as well as the regulation of the electronic circulation of documents confirming the HEALTH status of those entering the country.
CORONAVIRUS restrictions were reintroduced in Tajikistan in August last year. All arrivals in the republic had to present the results of a PCR test or a certificate of vaccination.
The Civil Aviation Agency explained that the restrictions were introduced due to an increase in the number of coronavirus cases in other countries. No cases of COVID have been recorded in Tajikistan since February 2022.
Since the beginning of the year, other countries have also lifted coronavirus restrictions for travelers. In particular, Thailand has waived the requirement for tourists to present a certificate of vaccination.
