Sobyanin announced a halving of new cases of COVID-19

The number of newly diagnosed patients with covid-19 in Moscow has halved over the month compared to peak values, all this is a consequence of the effective measures of the authorities and the responsibility of Muscovites. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin spoke about this on the air of the Rossiya 1 TV channel.

According to the mayor, the situation with CORONAVIRUS in the capital remains difficult, but at the same time, fewer new cases are recorded week by week, fewer hospitalizations.

“And this is not a few days, but already the fourth week. And in terms of the number of cases that we detect daily, in relation to the peak values ​​that we observed almost a month ago, it has almost halved, and the number of hospitalizations has decreased, ”he explained (quoted by RIA Novosti).

He also clarified that this effect was achieved thanks to the measures taken and the awareness of the Muscovites themselves.
