In Moscow, repeated cases of covid-19 infection were recorded in those who recovered from CORONAVIRUS and those who were vaccinated against the infection. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in an interview with Russia-1 TV channel.

“We see repeated diseases, we see diseases in those who have been vaccinated,” Sobyanin said.

Virologists evaluated the data of the Moscow authorities on 90% of those who received the Indian strain Society

According to the HEAD of the city, this trend is associated with the spread of the Indian strain of the disease in the capital. “The level of immunity in order to protect oneself from the Indian strain needs to be twice as high as compared to the Wuhan one,” Sobyanin explained.

The mayor noted that 1.5 million Muscovites have already received both components of the vaccine. According to him, vaccinating a large number of city residents in a short time will allow building a barrier against coronavirus.

Earlier, Sobyanin said that the Indian strain of coronavirus was detected in almost 90% of new cases of COVID-19 in Moscow. According to the mayor, this variant of the virus is more aggressive than other strains and is spreading faster.
