Sobyanin revealed the statistics of hospitalizations with COVID-19 in Moscow

Approximately 2,000 patients with CORONAVIRUS infection are hospitalized in the capital every day. This was announced by the mayor of the city Sergei Sobyanin on the air of "Russia 1".

“We hospitalize about 2,000 people a day. And this is just hospitalization, and how many people come just to examine the patient, bring him to the CT center, ”he said (quoted by RIA Novosti).

The mayor warned that such a situation turns into a huge strain on the medical system.

Earlier, Sobyanin said that Moscow is re-experiencing the “raging” epidemic of the coronavirus. In his opinion, either rapid large-scale vaccination or lockdown can stop the spread of covid-19 .

Over the past day, 8.4 thousand new infected with coronavirus have been detected in the city. The total number of patients with COVID-19 in the capital exceeded one million people.
