Enterprises must organize vaccination at their own enterprises, otherwise it will end in a lockdown, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in an interview with Rossiya 24.

“Not only the city, but also the HEAD of the enterprise is responsible for his enterprise, for his team. If we each sit on the sidelines and say: “well, the city authorities are doing something there, but we don’t give a damn,” it won’t work,” Sobyanin said.

Sobyanin called the situation with covid in Moscow “deadly for many” Society

According to him, if service industries, markets and catering establishments do not organize vaccination themselves, the Moscow authorities will have to impose a lockdown.

In June, the situation with the CORONAVIRUS worsened in Moscow. Since June 28, the city has launched a system of QR codes for visiting catering establishments and events with more than 500 people. Codes are issued to vaccinated and recovered citizens, as well as those who have passed a negative PCR test for covid-19 .

Earlier, on July 3, Sobyanin said that Moscow enterprises were making a "huge contribution" to the vaccination campaign in the city. He promised that the first 100 companies that fully vaccinate 60% of employees will receive grants - 100% of personal income tax paid for the previous 12 months. The amount will be limited to 5 million rubles. In addition, catering establishments that use the QR code system will be able to receive grants for the full payment of utility bills for this period following the results of the third quarter.
