Moscow authorities may introduce additional support measures for those who have been vaccinated against CORONAVIRUS infection, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.

“It is possible that we will introduce some other support measures, for example, there, a lottery with our federal colleagues,” Sobyanin said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (TASS quote).

According to the mayor, another 1 million people in the capital will be vaccinated against coronavirus by the end of the year.

Sobyanin noted that now the authorities are encouraging elderly people who have been vaccinated, paying them a thousand rubles each. The Million Prizes incentive program for citizens over 60 who have been vaccinated against the coronavirus has been launched in Moscow since the end of April. Elderly Muscovites with a Moscow MHI policy who have received their first vaccination can receive a gift card for 1,000 rubles. or a promo code for the same amount.
