North Macedonia has canceled the right of Russians to visa-free entry into the country, follows from the data for tourists on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The service for checking the need for a visa for entry shows that Russians will not be able to enter the country without it. Previously, North Macedonia extended the visa-free regime annually on March 16.

According to the Consular Information Portal, Russian citizens could enter the country without a visa if they had a passport, an invitation or a tourist voucher. Such a mechanism was enshrined in the Agreement on Mutual Travel of Citizens in 1989.
