Families of doctors who died from COVID-19 in Bashkiria were paid 118 million rubles

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the regional branch of the Social Insurance Fund has made more than 18.4 thousand payments to medical workers in Bashkiria who have recovered from the CORONAVIRUS. The amount of insurance accruals amounted to 1.38 billion rubles, including 43 payments for fatal cases for 118.3 million rubles. RBC Ufa was informed about this by the FSS in the republic.

Additional insurance guarantees for doctors working with those infected with coronavirus are provided by decree of President Vladimir Putin. The decree applies to doctors, paramedical and junior medical staff and ambulance drivers who work directly with infected or suspected patients with the virus.

The lump-sum payment for temporary disability due to infection with covid-19 is 68.8 thousand rubles. Employees who have received disability due to an illness are entitled to from 680 thousand to 2 million rubles. In the event of the death of a HEALTH worker, his relatives receive 2.75 million rubles.

The Ministry of Health of Bashkiria told RBC Ufa that since the beginning of the pandemic, the largest number of cases of coronavirus among regional medical organizations has been recorded in the city hospital No. 1 in Oktyabrsky, the Belebey Central District Hospital, the city hospital No. 2 in Sterlitamak and the Tuymazinsky Central District Hospital.
