In RUSSIA, restrictions on the number of regular and charter flights to the Dominican Republic, SOUTH KOREA and the Czech Republic have ceased to apply. The decision taken by the operational headquarters came into force on August 27. Flights to these countries from Russia were allowed before, but their number was limited.

In addition, from this date, the number of regular flights to Hungary, Egypt, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Cyprus will increase.

Russia resumed flights with the Dominican Republic from August 9 on the routes Moscow-Punta Cana, Moscow-La Romana and Moscow-Puerto Plata. The flights were carried out three times a week.

To enter the Dominican Republic, you need to fill out an electronic form, after which a QR code will be generated, which gives the right to enter and exit the country. At the same time, the results of the PCR test for covid-19 are not required for tourists; express tests are selectively done at the airport for arrivals. If tested positive, travelers will have to go into quarantine. Passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test on their hands are not subject to random testing (the analysis must be submitted no later than 72 hours before entering the country). The Dominican Republic uses vaccines approved by the World HEALTH Organization, and now the country uses drugs from the pharmaceutical companies ASTRAZENECA, Pfizer / BioNTech and Sinovac.

Due to the increase in the number of cases, the Czech Republic imposed entry restrictions for Russians at the end of June, but on August 24, Prague excluded Russia from the list of countries with a high risk of contracting CORONAVIRUS. Air communication with the Czech Republic was resumed on July 24. There were four flights a week on the Moscow-Prague route and back. it is necessary to fill out a special form and pass a PCR test for COVID-19 before entering the country or after arrival.
