Epidemic thresholds for the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) have been exceeded in 62 subjects of RUSSIA. This was reported on the website of the department.

According to the Influenza Research Institute. A.A. Smorodintsev, in the period from September 13 to September 19, the incidence of ARVI in the population was 84.8 people per 10 thousand of the population, which is 52.8% higher than the weekly epidemic threshold.

At the same time, Rospotrebnadzor clarified that in Russia today a moderate incidence of acute respiratory viral infections has been recorded, mainly due to respiratory viruses of non-influenza etiology. “At the same time, the excess of weekly thresholds for the incidence of influenza and SARS is observed mainly among the adult population, as well as children in the age group of 7-14 years,” they explained.
