Director Vladimir Menshov has contracted the coronavirus

DIRECTOR Vladimir Menshov was diagnosed with covid-19 , RBC was told in the press service of the Just RUSSIA  - For Truth party. Due to illness, the director was unable to attend the congress of the organization.

it was decided that Vladimir Menshov was included in the federal list of the party in the elections to the State Duma. The list will be headed by party chairman Sergei Mironov and co-chairs Zakhar Prilepin and Gennady Semigin.

The director is 81 years old. Menshov received an Oscar in 1981 for Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears as the best film in a foreign language. He is the owner of the orders "For Merit to the Fatherland" of three degrees, as well as the State Prize of the USSR.
