By July 15, amendments must be made to the legislation of RUSSIA so that positions of a trainee DOCTOR can appear in medical organizations, which could be occupied by residents starting from the second year of study. This is stated in the list of instructions of President Vladimir Putin following the meeting of the council for national projects.

Vladimir Putin announced support for such an idea on December 16 at a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects. “I propose to consolidate this practice and introduce the positions of trainee doctors so that they can work in their specialty, primarily in primary care,” the president said. it was about working under the guidance of doctors-mentors.
