Vladimir Putin awarded the Order of Friendship to a German professor in the field of medicine Vladimir Putin

DOCTOR of Medical Sciences, Professor Helmut Hahn from Germany was awarded the Order of Friendship by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, follows from a document published on the legal information portal.

The decree says that Khan, who heads the Russian-German Koch-Mechnikov Forum, received the award "for his great contribution to the development of Russian-German cooperation in the field of healthcare."

The Koch-Mechnikov Forum, according to information from the official website, is engaged in the implementation of scientific knowledge in the field of healthcare in practice to bring Russian medicine to the level of the EU. In addition, the organization calls its goals the harmonization of German and Russian healthcare, the unification of the professional competencies of specialists from the two countries in this field and the strengthening of civil society through cooperation in the field of healthcare.

The Forum works in coordination with the Ministries of HEALTH of the Federal Republic of Germany and RUSSIA as part of the modernization partnership between the two countries.
