Vacancies for checking QR-codes in the Republic of Tatarstan amount to several dozen. They are offered to work in shifts, lasting from 6 hours, for 1-1.2 thousand rubles

RBC Tatarstan interviewed representatives of job search services and resumes about the number of offers for QR code controllers in the region.

Dmitry Puchkov, HEAD of Avito Rabota service development, told RBC Tatarstan that after the introduction of additional restrictions, 17 vacancies for checking QR codes were opened in the republic by the beginning of November. Such vacancies are placed by cafes, restaurants and shopping centers: those establishments where it is forbidden to go without a vaccination or disease code.

According to Puchkov, QR code controllers are offered a 2/2 shift schedule and wages from 1-1.2 thousand rubles for a 6-8-hour shift. Candidates with disabilities, students and employees over 45 years of age are also invited to this position. Experience for checking codes is usually not required. For employment, they need a vaccination certificate and a smartphone with a special application. The duties of the controller include reconciliation of the data of the passport and the QR code.

“The demand for QR code controllers will be relevant for at least a few more months, since restrictions for unvaccinated citizens have not yet been lifted in many regions. Also, from November 22 in Tatarstan, public transport for passengers over 18 years of age will be carried out only with a code. Therefore, in the near future, there will only be more vacancies for controllers of vaccination codes. In the event that the codes remain with us for a long time, there is a high probability of automating this process with the help of special robots and input frames for reading the QR code,” Puchkov believes.

In Kazan, the municipal enterprise Metroelektrotrans invites people to check QR codes at metro stations. The employer offers a schedule of 2/2 to 12 hours: from 6.00 to 18.00 and from 12.00 to 24.00. The salary is indicated - from 20 thousand rubles per hand, plus - a social package and a subsidy for food.
