According to the results of the first quarter of 2022, compared to the same period of the previous year, sales of new passenger cars of the Chery Tiggo 7Pro model increased by 529.4% in the Novosibirsk Region. The sharp increase in sales of this car model is due to the increased confidence in the Chinese auto industry, says Anton Sevastyanov, sales DIRECTOR of the Luna Auto dealership.
“The Chery brand invests a lot of effort and money to promote its cars. Moreover, this is manifested in marketing activities, and in pricing policy, and in the quality of the product itself,” said Sevastyanov.
He added that this Chery Tiggo 7 Pro is the best offer on the market for new cars in terms of price and quality.
In general, in the first three months, sales of the TOP-10 models of new passenger cars sank by 40.5%. The largest drop in sales was shown by Lada Granta (-63.4%), Hiundai Solaris (-62%) and KIA Rio (-56.9%).
The subsidence of the market, according to Sevastyanov, was due to the depreciation of the ruble and an increase in the key rate of the Central Bank.
“After the start of the special operation on the territory of Ukraine, many of our clients had a feeling of uncertainty. They began to reconsider their plans and priorities for financial expenditures,” summed up Sevastyanov.
