Chinese Geely Automobile's profit for 2021 fell by 12%

Chinese automaker Geely Automobile published a report for 2021, according to which the company's profit fell by 12% to 4.85 billion yuan from 5.53 billion yuan a year earlier amid rising prices for raw materials, as well as due to a shortage of chips. According to Geely Automobile, the company is committed to further expanding its EXPORT sales to new markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Western Europe. Geely Automobile plans for 2022 include a 24% increase in sales to 1.65 million vehicles.
