Contracts for the supply of Levilimab, a drug used to treat a severe form of CORONAVIRUS, to 12 medical institutions in Bashkiria were received by the Krasnodar company Pharmservice. The organization became the only bidder announced by the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital (RCCH) and will supply medicines at an initial maximum price of 21.9 million rubles.

In addition to the RCCH, the drug will be delivered to the Chishminskaya, Meleuzovskaya, Mesyagutovskaya, Belebevskaya, Birskaya central district hospitals, the Republican Clinical Hospital for War Veterans, the city hospitals of Kumertau, Neftekamsk, Salavat, as well as to hospitals No. 5 and No. 8 in Ufa. To date, hospitals for the treatment of patients with coronavirus continue to operate in all these medical institutions.

The supplier must deliver 694.8 ml of Levilimab subcutaneous solution, or 386 packs of two 0.9 ml syringes, to medical facilities. Most of all, 200 packages will be delivered to the infectious diseases hospital. 50 each will be sent to the city hospital of Neftekamsk and hospital No. 8 in the capital of the region. The smallest supply is for the Chishminsky Central District Hospital - only one package. Other hospitals purchased from 5 to 25 packs of the drug at an average cost of 57,000 rubles. Funds for the purchase of medicines were allocated by the medical institutions themselves.

As RBC reported, the Ministry of HEALTH of the Russian Federation registered Levilimab (trade name Ilsira) in July last year. The drug is used to treat patients with severe covid-19 who develop a so-called cytokine storm. The manufacturer of the drug is the company "Biocad".

In August, Moscow JSC R-Pharm received contracts for the supply of Favipiravir to 12 hospitals in Bashkiria to treat patients with coronavirus. The company will supply 400,000 tablets to medical facilities at a maximum price of 47.9 million rubles.
