The awards ceremony will take place this year on April 3 in Las Vegas, having previously been postponed for the second year in a row due to fears of the spread of the omicron strain of CORONAVIRUS. This is stated on the website of the award.

“We are excited to bring the Grammys to Las Vegas for the first time and put on a world class show. Since we announced the postponement of the original show date, we have been inundated with heartfelt messages of support and solidarity from the artist community,” said Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr.

The ceremony was planned to be held on January 31, however, on January 5, the organizers announced the great risk that the show could be associated with due to the situation with the omicron strain covid-19 .

US Grammy Nominees Announced Society

The organizers announced the list of nominees for the award in November last year. Jazz artist John Baptiste is up for 11 awards, with up to eight awards for musicians Justin Bieber, Doja Cat and HER Billy Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo are up for seven gramophone statuettes presented with the award.
