People's Artist of the RSFSR Lev Leshchenko is feeling well, his representative told an RBC correspondent.

Earlier, the TELEGRAM channel Mash reported that the 83-year-old artist had been diagnosed with a "rare disease," but its progression was halted with expensive medications funded by the state. According to Mash, Leshchenko was forced to cancel his concerts in the Far East due to his HEALTH problems.

"Everything is fine with him," the correspondent's source responded when asked to comment on the information about the singer's "rare illness."

In 2020, Lev Leshchenko recovered from CORONAVIRUS and was treated at the infectious diseases hospital in Kommunarka. The artist was hospitalized on March 24, 2020, with double pneumonia after a trip to the United States . His wife was also admitted to the medical center with him.

Later, the hospital's chief physician, Denis Protsenko, confirmed Leshchenko'scovid-19 . Due to shortness of breath and low oxygenation, he was transferred to intensive care, but on March 27, his condition stabilized and he was returned to his regular ward.
