The new format of political cooperation between Ukraine, Great Britain and Poland will turn out to be just a "talking shop", such an alliance has no prospects. This was stated by Russian Ambassador to London Andrey Kelin on the YouTube channel SolovievLive.
The diplomat said that in Eastern Europe small unions had been “put together” before. As an example, he cited the Visegrad Group - the union of the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia. “Then there was an attempt by the Americans to create a Baltic-Black Sea belt, in my opinion, it has not yet been realized in any way. GUAM was created, rather it was extremely unpleasant for us - this is the unification of Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaijan, it turned out to be a non-working platform, ”he added.
Kelin suggested that the union of Ukraine, Great Britain and Poland would become another platform for discussion. “Most likely, things will not go further than a “talking shop”, like all the rest of these small unions, here,” the ambassador said.
