More than 1.32 million people have been vaccinated against covid-19 in the Krasnodar Territory . This is 50% of the vaccination plan. The governor of the region, Veniamin Kondratyev, spoke about this in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper.

In total, for the formation of collective immunity in the Kuban, it is necessary to vaccinate at least 60% of the adult population - 2.7 million inhabitants. As the governor clarified, the incidence continues to grow in many municipalities, but so far hospitals are coping with the load.

“More than 5.5 thousand beds have been deployed in 24 covid hospitals. It is in order not to collapse the healthcare system of the region, to make life easier for our doctors, to form a collective immunity of the population, that we took strict measures - we introduced mandatory vaccination of workers in the tourism industry, catering and transport, as well as new rules for settling in hotels," he said. Veniamin Kondratiev.

He added that there is enough vaccine in the region for residents and tourists to get vaccinated. Thus, more than 1.6 million doses of the vaccine were delivered to the Krasnodar Territory. About 300 thousand doses are available in medical organizations. As they are used, new deliveries are expected.
