Petersburg overtook Moscow in the number of COVID-19 cases per day

Over the past day, 1.6 thousand people infected with CORONAVIRUS were detected in Moscow, follows from the data of the operational headquarters.

For the first time since February, the capital has dropped to second place in this indicator: the most infected people over the past day were registered in St. Petersburg  - 1.8 thousand people.

The last time St. Petersburg overtook Moscow in terms of daily growth was in February: on February 3, 1.9 thousand infected with coronavirus were detected in the Northern capital, and 1.5 thousand in Moscow.
