Peskov appreciated the rumors about Putin's bulletproof vest during the New Year's address Vladimir Putin

Press Secretary of the President of RUSSIA Dmitry Peskov called the report that Vladimir Putin put on a bulletproof vest during the New Year's address, the Daily Storm reports.

“This is complete nonsense! The guys obviously overdid it on New Year’s Eve,” he said.

Previously, blogger Alexander Gorny wrote in an op-ed for Ekho Moskvy that because of the “incomprehensible” style of the coat, some people suggested that this year the president recorded the speech in a bulletproof vest.

Putin's New Year's address was the longest in the history of modern Russia - it lasted 6 minutes 22 seconds, the HEAD of state said almost 700 words. In it, the president paid great attention to the difficult challenges of the covid-19 pandemic and the Russians overcoming these difficulties. He also expressed support for those who have lost loved ones due to the virus.
