The Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Nizhny Novgorod Region has extended the period during which residents of the region are required to be vaccinated against CORONAVIRUS.

According to the department, this decision was made in connection with the growing number of people wishing to be vaccinated. If earlier the deadline for the first vaccination was set before July 25, 2021, and for the second component - until August 25, now the first vaccination must be done before August 30.

In addition, the list of categories of citizens subject to mandatory vaccination has been expanded. The risk group for a new coronavirus infection includes workers in the field of hotel and temporary maintenance services, workers in the delivery of goods and food, including courier.

At the same time, the new requirements do not apply to those who have a contraindication to vaccination. Residents of Nizhny Novgorod who have antibodies to covid-19 should make a decision about vaccination after consulting a DOCTOR.
