This order was given by Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov due to the increase in the incidence of covid-19. So far, we are talking about the second line of beds in existing single-profile hospitals.

In addition, the governor instructed to prepare a list of measures to reduce the spread of CORONAVIRUS in the Vologda region. The reason for the strengthening of measures is the increase in the number of cases of a new coronavirus infection and an increase in the number of patients in severe form.

“Dear Vologda residents! Unfortunately, the situation regarding the spread of coronavirus infection in the Russian Federation and the Vologda Oblast is getting worse. The number of sick people is growing, the number of seriously ill patients in our single-profile hospitals is growing. In Vologda, the monohospital is 82% full, in Cherepovets 92%, in Veliky Ustyug also 92%,” the HEAD of the region wrote.

The governor reminded the citizens of Vologda to take precautionary measures - the mandatory wearing of masks in public places and vaccination.
