In Ukraine, 16 people died as a result of an accident involving a fuel truck

In the Rivne region in western Ukraine, as a result of an accident involving a passenger bus, a fuel truck and a car, 16 people were killed and six more were injured. it is reported by the National Police of Ukraine.

The accident occurred on the highway Kyiv - Chop near the village of Sitnoe, Dubensky district. Currently, traffic on the highway in this area is suspended. “As a result of the collision, all three vehicles caught fire. According to preliminary data, 16 people died, six were injured, the report said.

The cause of the accident is not known.

Later, the adviser to the HEAD of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Anton Gerashchenko, told the publication “STRANA.UA” that 27 people died as a result of an accident. One of the dead is the driver of a Mercedes car.

In April, an accident involving a bus occurred on the Pinar del Rio - Havana highway in Cuba. 53 people were injured. Among the wounded were minors. Five people were in critical condition.
