Ukraine plans to introduce mandatory vaccination against COVID for doctors

In Ukraine, medical workers are planned to be included in the list of professions for which vaccination against CORONAVIRUS infection is mandatory. This was announced by the Minister of HEALTH of the country Viktor Lyashko on the air of the ICTV channel.

“At the next stages of expanding the list of professions, the profession of a medical worker will also appear,” the minister said.

According to him, more than 80% of Ukrainian doctors have now been vaccinated, and among those who work with patients with covid-19  , 100% have been vaccinated against coronavirus.

Vaccination against coronavirus in Ukraine started in February. Moderna, ASTRAZENECA, Pfizer/BioNTech, Sinovac and Johnson&Johnson vaccines have been approved in the country.
