During the holiday weekend, the incidence decreased by 2.6 times. As of March 6, 1,506 cases were recorded in the region, and 1,207 as of March 7. On Tuesday, March 8, 602 new cases were confirmed in the Kuban.

Over the past day, 163 people fell ill in Krasnodar, 46 in the Timashevsky district, 40 in Vyselkovsky, 31 in Novorossiysk, 28 each in Armavir and Tikhoretsky districts. Novokubansk - 21 each, in Sochi - 19.

18 cases were confirmed in Anapa, 15 each in Kavkazsky and Mostovsky districts, 13 in Tbilisi, and 11 in Krylovsky. 4 people fell ill in Kushchevsky and Pavlovsky districts, 3 people each in Dinsky and Slavyansky districts, 2 people each in Bryukhovetsky, Kalininsky, Otradnensky districts, one each in Tuapse and Shcherbinovsky.

4,041 people continue inpatient treatment with suspected coronavirus infection, of which 2,073 have a confirmed diagnosis. 103 residents are in serious condition on a ventilator, and 6 are on ECMO.
