In the Krasnodar Territory, 120 cases of CORONAVIRUS infection were confirmed per day, according to the operational headquarters of the Kuban. The last time so many cases were recorded in a day was in March 2021.
As of June 23, 21 cases of the disease were detected in Krasnodar, 16 in Novorossiysk, 13 in Sochi, 11 each in Anapa and the Seversky district. Seven cases were in Armavir, six in the Timashevsk district. Five positive results each were received in Krasnoarmeisky, Novokubansky and Tuapse.
Four people fell ill in Krymsky and Vyselkovsky. Three new patients in the Tikhoretsky district, two each in Belorechensky, Kalininsky and Kushchevsky. One more person was infected in Slavyansky, Ust-Labinsky and Pavlovsky regions.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the infection has been found in 50,803 residents of the region. 45,009 people recovered, including 57 over the past day. During the day, 15 people died, fatal cases rose to 3296.
1376 patients with coronavirus infection are being treated in hospitals, 1122 patients are being treated at home. 56 people are in serious condition on mechanical ventilation, 5 more are on ECMO. In total, 248,765 residents turned to the doctors of the region with suspected coronavirus.
3333388 studies were carried out in the laboratories of the region. The incidence rate per 100 thousand population is 893.8.
As RBC Krasnodar reported, in the Krasnodar Territory, mandatory vaccination against coronavirus infection was introduced for employees in a number of areas. Until July 23, 60% of workers in education, catering, trade, tourism, transport, and consumer services should receive the first dose of vaccinations.
