Another 281 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the Don

In the Rostov region, as of July 5, 281 new cases of covid-19 infection were confirmed , another 195 patients recovered. Such data is provided by the Stopcoronavirus.rf portal.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, the cumulative total of confirmed CORONAVIRUS cases reached 100,599, and 90,689 recovered. Over the entire period, 4,704 people became victims of COVID-19 in the region. Over the past day, two women with coronavirus died: 35 and 64 years old, both with chronic diseases of the cardiovascular and other systems.

In June, on the Don, the daily number of recovered patients began to regularly exceed the number of cases. This trend continued until 21 June. According to the Minister of HEALTH of the Rostov Region Yuri Kobzev, at the moment there have been no cases of complications after vaccination against COVID-19 in the Don region.

At the same time, last week it was announced the introduction of mandatory vaccination against coronavirus. At least 60% of employees in trade, catering, public transport, taxis, beauty salons, massage parlors, fitness clubs, and consumer services must be vaccinated. In addition, mandatory vaccination against coronavirus is introduced for bank employees who work with clients, employees of the MFC, those who work in education, healthcare and social protection. Workers in the sphere of culture, theaters, cinemas, those who work with children in playrooms and those who work in the housing and communal services sector will also be vaccinated.

To date, 694,662 people have been vaccinated against a new coronavirus infection, 5,026 in a day. 493,745 people have completed vaccination (double administration of the vaccine), 1,685 in a day.
