More than 80,000 people with COVID-19 have recovered on the Don since the start of the pandemic

In the Rostov region, more than 78 thousand people infected with CORONAVIRUS recovered over the entire observation period, over the past day - 203. This follows from the data published by the information policy department of the Don government.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the Don region increased by 210, and on the morning of May 7, the cumulative total reached 89,492. Over the entire period, 4,118 people became victims of covid-19 in the region, 12 of them over the past day.

“To date, 326,652 people have been vaccinated against a new coronavirus infection, 3,465 in a day. 209,004 people have completed vaccination (double administration of the vaccine), 7,054 in a day,” the message says.

Recall that earlier the chief sanitary DOCTOR of the Rostov region Evgeny Kovalev spoke in favor of maintaining restrictive measures in the region. “Today we are at a crossroads - if we let go of the situation, we can get an explosive increase in the incidence. We have a well-thought-out set of restrictions, in my opinion, it is important to leave it in the form that it is now and not weaken it, ”said Kovalev.
