In North Ossetia, the investigating authorities opened a criminal case against the DIRECTOR of Vikalina LLC. He is suspected under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (providing services that do not meet security requirements), the press service of the Investigative Committee of the ICR for the region reports.

According to the department, in the period until May 6, 2022, the suspect, knowing that the hangars located on the territory of the Vikalina market did not comply with the requirements of fire safety rules, as well as the lack of permission to put them into operation, did not take measures to eliminate these violations.

In addition, he continued to provide services to provide retail space to tenants in these facilities that do not meet the safety requirements for the life and HEALTH of consumers in the event of a fire.

“On May 6, 2022, as a result of a fire that occurred in the above trading premises of the Vikalina market, three people were delivered to the republican clinical hospital of the medical care station with a diagnosis of burns and carbon monoxide poisoning, and the property of more than 500 tenants was destroyed, which caused significant property damage” , — noted in the press service of the regional department.

The criminal investigation is currently ongoing.

According to the RBC Company's service, Vikalina LLC was registered in Vladikavkaz in 2001. The main activity is retail trade in non-stationary trade facilities and markets. The organization's revenue in 2020 amounted to 54.9 million rubles, profit - 8 million rubles. The founders of the company are Victoria Dzhatieva and Artur Khadartsev. According to SPARK, since September 2021, Aslan Pukhov has been the acting director.
