“We see that the clinical picture of Omicron is dominated by such signs of ARVI as sore throat, subfebrile fever, myalgia, general symptoms of intoxication, sometimes very similar to the course of influenza,” said the HEAD of the Ministry of Health.

He noted that the number of cases of pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome with omicron does not exceed those with delta or influenza.

According to Murashko, children fall ill with omicron 2.5 times more often than other variants of the virus.
