Russians who have been ill with covid-19 will receive personal invitations for a medical examination. This was announced by the HEAD of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko at a meeting with students of the Ural State Medical University.
“Now the healthcare system will exhale from the flow that appeals to us, we are launching targeted invitations, implementing personalization. We are starting to act proactively, to push. This push and motivation should follow the path of personification,” the minister said (quoted by TASS).

All those who have recovered from COVID-19, regardless of whether they have impaired vital functions and how severe they are, need rehabilitation, said the chief specialist in medical rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health, Professor Galina Ivanova. “Patients who have had an infection in moderate and severe forms will especially need it,” she said.
According to Ivanova, rehabilitation after COVID-19 can take from several months to a year. During this period, it is necessary to monitor the restoration of lung function and oxygen saturation of the blood, as well as to stabilize the psycho-emotional state, the specialist explained. Those who have been ill with COVID-19 in a mild form should follow the doctor's recommendations for the prevention of re-infection, blood clots and embolism, and fibrous processes in the lungs.
Immediately after discharge, according to the Ministry of Health, a person who has been ill with a coronavirus must stay at home in isolation for two weeks. After that, he can go to a spa treatment for further rehabilitation.
