The Ministry of Health denied the introduction of additional measures in hospitals due to COVID-19

The mask regime in medical organizations has not been canceled, new anti-epidemic measures have not been introduced, Assistant Minister of Health Alexei Kuznetsov told RBC.

So he commented on the publication of the Baza TELEGRAM channel, which said that Russian medical institutions are introducing a mask regime and other anti-epidemic measures. The channel referred to the protocol of the meeting, which was held on July 14 by the operational headquarters of the Ministry of Health under the leadership of Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko.

According to Baza, the meeting decided to instruct the heads of relevant executive authorities in the regions to ensure compliance with the anti-epidemic regime. Such measures include measuring the temperature at the entrance, separating the flow of patients (separating patients with suspected infectious diseases into a separate flow), observing the mask regime and social distance, using respirators and goggles for doctors.

“The decision of the operational headquarters of the Ministry of Health of Russia is intended to additionally point out to colleagues in the regions the need to comply with anti-epidemic measures familiar to everyone to protect the health of medical workers and patients. At the same time, the mask regime in medical organizations has not been canceled, ”Kuznetsov explained.

He stressed that the coronavirus infection continues to circulate in society, so compliance with the introduced measures in medical organizations is necessary.
