“The medical examination program, additional medical examination will start on July 1. In different regions, it will develop depending on the epidemiological situation, there are regions where the incidence of covid is high. Today, medical specialists are also experiencing an increased workload,” the minister said.

Murashko added that lists of patients in three categories subject to medical examination have already been compiled. Those who had been ill with covid-19 from 2 to 6 months ago will be the first to be invited to it. Then, during the period of the “stable epidemiological situation”, citizens with chronic non-communicable diseases who could not receive full medical care during the CORONAVIRUS restrictions will be called. In the third category of persons, those who have not sought medical help for two or more years.
“All these lists have been formed today by the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund and medical organizations, and the interaction will go through insurance representatives,” the minister concluded. He noted the well-developed medical examination processes, and added that additional funds will be allocated to the regions for it. Changes will also be made to the state guarantee program. “It is very important for us that, based on the results of the medical examination, proposals for a particular patient are clearly formed, what should be done next in order to maintain their health and not suffer damage to their own health, for life expectancy,” Murashko concluded.
