The Russian military destroyed a pontoon crossing and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that were trying to cross the Seversky Donets River, according to the TELEGRAM channel of the Ministry of Defense.

The department said that the Ukrainian troops spotted a drone, then they opened fire on them from artillery, as a result of which the crossing was destroyed.

“Enemy armored vehicles with crews that managed to cross the pontoons during the battle were destroyed by fire from Russian artillerymen and crews of infantry fighting vehicles. Part of the armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was captured by Russian military personnel, ”the message says.
